Public Positions is a platform integrating design and social responsibility. Its ongoing iterations, called Series A, B, C, and so forth, each explore a topic of social and political relevance, whether environmental justice or the experiences of young refugees.
For Series B: Poster Stories, Public Positions invited child refugees from Leipzig to a workshop exploring the design process of posters. Each poster showcases the participant’s unique interests and experiences. Subsequently, the posters were exhibited at Galerie KUB (Leipzig, Germany) and Salon am Moritzplatz (Berlin, Germany).
Guided by Berlin-based graphic designer Florian Seidel's artistic expertise, each child was given the platform to give voice to their unique dreams and hobbies, channeled through the creation of a personal poster. Complementing these artistic expressions, the children's personalities were further illuminated in portraits captured by Berlin-based photographer Nora Heinisch.
